Sweet Maria's Shipping Special

From now through September 30th we are offering a Flat Rate shipping to anywhere in the contiguous 48 states (no AK, HI, AE/AP), at the following rates:

0 - 20 Lbs. = $8.99
21 - 40 Lbs. = $14.99
41 - 60 Lbs. = $21.99

We have learned a lot in the past two months of offering the shipping special - so we are continuing this offer but making some changes:

1) Fom now on - choosing SM Shipping Special means that the order ships UPS Ground. No exceptions. If you have an address that can not accept UPS packages (i.e. a PO Box) then you have to choose USPS shipping specifically.

2) We have to bump up the price a bit - $1 for each of the weight categories.

3) Finally, we discovered through trial and error that we can get 20 pounds of coffee in the large flat rate box from USPS. So we have increased the weight limit for the Large Flat Rate box to 20 pounds maximum (from 18 pounds maximum). Please note: Some large bean coffees take up more space than usual - so orders with these coffees can be problematic. These include: Liquid Amber, Monsooned Malabar, and the Costa Rica RIP coffee. If there is a problem with the shipping method selected - we will contact you.

Orders can be for coffee and/or merchandise. Transit times will be the UPS Ground transit time (up to 6 days to northern New England).

We have re-introduced the volume discount for orders of at least 3 x 20 lbs. - due to the shipping special the discount is less than before - 10% - not 15% - off the price of the 20 pound bags when you get 3 or more.

This shipping option will appear in the list of shipping options as "S.M. Shipping Special (UPS Ground)"

Be sure to check out the other UPS and USPS Shipping options on the Shipping list as you check out. It is possible that one of them is less expensive, especially if you are near to Oakland, California, or if you are buying lightweight items.
