Stovetop
Roasting with a stovetop popcorn popper can be a convenient way to get into home coffee roasting. It's cost-effective, easy to use, and can roast larger batch sizes than more "advanced" machines in its price range. For coffee roasting traditionalists, stovetop roasting is closest to the cowboy-style roasting of the American West, and more prominently, the coffee roasting ceremonies of Ethiopia.
